Somewhere buried in a sea of extraneous documents, is hard evidence linking SoetorObama intimately to unrepentant terrorists William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn.

Following up on Shannen's point, Obama's decision to contest the William Ayers ad brings a result that's not terribly positive for his campaign: a big story in USA Today. And there's this gem near the end of the piece: Tom Hayden,

"This response ad is more smoke and mirrors from a candidate desperate to obscure his longstanding relationship with admitted domestic terrorist William Ayers," said Ed Martin, American Issues Project's president.

Does it matter if William Ayers was the key somebody who made Barack Obama a somebody somebody sent? I think it does. Not that Obama shares all of Ayers’s views, which surely he does not.

But it does raise an interesting question, one that I think deserves answering. Why would Barack Obama be friends with William Ayers, who remains proud about his group's bombing the Capitol?

Among those who founded the group was William Ayers, now 63, who helped start the radical 1960s group the Weather Underground, also known as the Weathermen. Ayers has been a professor of education at UIC for several years.

Obama not only aired a response ad to the spot linking him to William Ayers, but he sought to block stations the commercial by warning station managers and asking the Justice Department to intervene.

There’sa direct philosophical lineage from the domestic terrorism of the sixties to the candidacy of Barack Obama. It’s the 800-pound gorilla in the room that the mainstream media refuses to talk about.

The American Issues Project, a 501(c)4 organization, prepared and released on August 21st a very damning video of Obama and his association with terrorist friend and colleague William Ayers.
