A new missile fired by an American plane without a pilot from Afghanistan on Friday killed at 11 or 12 people in northwestern Pakistan, where Washington wants to eliminate the sanctuaries of Al Qaeda and the Taliban, assured local officials.

The missile hit a house in Tol Khel, on the outskirts of Miranshah, the main city in the tribal district of North Waziristan, the Taliban stronghold of Pakistani hosting and supporting foreign fighters of Al Qaeda, told AFP responsible for a high local government, which requested anonymity.
